Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva · The Great Vow Protector
White Jade Glaze Base · Wealth & Protection in the Period 9 Era
In Buddhist scriptures, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is revered as the Bodhisattva of the Greatest Vow. It is said that throughout countless past lifetimes, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made profound vows to rescue his mother from suffering in the lower realms. Following the passing of the Buddha, he further pledged to continue guiding and liberating all beings across the Six Realms until they are freed from suffering.
His great vow is famously expressed as:
“Not until the hells are emptied shall I attain Buddhahood;
Only when all beings are liberated shall I realize Bodhi.”
For this reason, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is widely regarded as the embodiment of great filial piety, boundless compassion, immense merit, and unwavering dedication to relieving suffering. He is respectfully honored as “Namo Great Vow Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.”
Period 9 Energy Design · Inspired by the Nine Purple Fire Era
Inspired by the Bodhisattva’s great vow and protective spirit, this newly upgraded Ksitigarbha Gold Buddha features a distinctive White Jade Glaze Base, integrating traditional Five Elements philosophy with the energy principles of the Period 9 (Nine Purple Fire Era). It symbolizes purification, balance, protection, and the continuous flow of prosperity.
From 2024 to 2043, we enter the Period 9 Cycle within the Three Cycles and Nine Periods system of Feng Shui. Associated with the Li Trigram, this era is governed by the Fire element and represents fame, wealth, technology, communication, spiritual awakening, and new opportunities.
While the Nine Purple Fire Era brings powerful momentum for growth and prosperity, excessive Fire energy may also contribute to emotional stress, mental restlessness, health imbalances, unexpected challenges, and strained relationships.
To address this, the White Jade Glaze Base is designed around the principle of Five Elements Harmony.
White Represents Metal in the Nine Purple Fire Era
In Five Elements theory, the color white corresponds to the Metal element. Metal helps moderate and disperse excessive Fire energy, restoring balance and stability.
When Fire energy is properly regulated, wealth energy can circulate more smoothly, creating a foundation for sustainable success—allowing one to prosper without depletion and thrive without compromising well-being.
The White Jade Glaze Base symbolizes pure Metal energy and a refined, harmonious field of energy. During the Period 9 Era, it serves as a reminder of balance, supporting the pursuit of wealth, health, protection, and inner peace.
